In collaboration with Sigma Industry Development, we are now looking for a Consulting Manager for Technical Calculations - a role for you who want to combine leadership, engineering, technology, and entrepreneurship.

Information about the position:
Sigma Industry Development is a subsidiary of the SIEN group that continues its successful growth journey without compromising on quality. They are now looking for a consulting manager for the Technical Calculations section. The section currently consists of a team of engineers and operates within static and dynamic FEA, fatigue, automation and optimization, external and internal CFD, thermal analysis, and method development.

You will join an established customer base while having a lot of freedom to put your stamp on the business and its future strategy. The role involves both personnel responsibility and operational responsibility, with the opportunity to practically run the section as a “business within a business.” In the long term, there are good opportunities to further develop the business, both in size and organizationally.

Job responsibilities: 
Your task is to help the team and the business to further develop by navigating towards high growth and ensuring new business. The role is multifaceted and includes:

• Leading and developing a team of technical specialists
• Recruiting and attracting new talents
• Driving business development and establishing new customer collaborations, responsible for budget, planning, and follow-up 
• Being involved in both strategic and operational issues

All this with the ambition to create growth without compromising on quality, sustainability, or a good working environment. We see that you have experience in sales and leadership within the consulting industry, preferably with a broad network in the Stockholm region and also nationally.

We are looking for someone who: 

• Has an MSc in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, technical physics, or equivalent competence acquired through several years of relevant experience
• Has experience in driving consulting operations with responsibility for budget, strategy, follow-up, and business
• Has leadership experience with personnel responsibility and is a present manager and clear cultural bearer
• Has an entrepreneurial mindset, thrives with significant personal responsibility and short decision-making paths
• Is action-oriented, pragmatic, and a secure point for the team in changing conditions
• Is motivated by combining sales, business, finance, technology, and leadership in one role
